Ford's affordable hot hatches start with ST150

The Focus RS may be running nearly a year-and-a-half behind schedule, but a rapidly expanding family of ST models heralds a new generation of affordable fast Fords - from the Fiesta supermini to Mondeo estate.

Our computer-generated image reveals the look of next year's hottest Fiesta, the £14,000 ST150, toting 150bhp. It will hit the 60mph benchmark in less than 8.0sec, making it the fastest Fiesta yet.

Other versions of the sporty three-door Fiesta - very different in style from the five-door - go on sale in the UK later on this summer.
